Underground Adventure
Our underground adventures are an experience that will stick in your mind for years to come. Exploring caverns left by the slate miners in Snowdonia North Wales which were abandoned by the miners many years ago. There is no need to worry about being claustrophobic, these tunnels are walking size with many chambers being huge looking more like underground cathedrals, Pete Robertson and Louise Robertson from Snowdonia Peaks and Valleys will lead you through for your very own underground adventure.
After a walk up the valley we will then descend into the mine following the footsteps of miners. We will look at the remarkable conditions that they worked in, discover artefacts left underground and you will be amazed at how slate was produced. As we explore we will slowly, level by level make our way through the mine exiting almost at the top of the mountain and then have a pleasant walk down through woods and following trails travelled by miners for hundreds of years. This is an ideal activity in any weather as the temperature in the mine is constant. It is suitable for everyone in your family and you will have your own qualified guide.
